Gone are the days

Suddenly I am having a wave of nostalgia hitting me. School / college days, cities I grew up in (Coimbatore, Madurai, Bangalore), people that I worked with.

Here is a song from Hannah Montana that seemed to be apt.

Gone Are The Days

Gone are the days of my past,
Gone are the days of my childhood innocence,
Gone are the days of my first and last.
Gone are the days of being carefree,
Gone are the days of my elation,
Gone are the days of my glee.
Gone are the days of my fear.
Gone are the days of savor.

Gone are the days I spent here.

Gone, Gone, Gone are the days
And I fear
It's becoming more clear!

Gone, Gone, Gone are the days I spent hear (sic).

:-) Sometimes nostalgia pulls you down, sometimes it pulls you up. Hopefully it is the latter one for you.

@Annam
I try to remember what I did during my 1st to 6th standards, but I recollect only very small portions of it. But some of the memories are very precious.

On nostalgia, I may have some other posts as well. Working on it. :-)

பழச நெனைக்கரதில தப்பே இல்லை. After all, it is a part of you.
